President suggests increasing quantity of Bolashak grants for rural youth

The President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev said today at the forum of grant-aided students of Bolashak program that the quantity of grants of Bolashak program for rural youth should be increased, the agency reports.

Astana. January 30. Kazakhstan Today - The President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev said today at the forum of grant-aided students of Bolashak program that the quantity of grants of Bolashak program for rural youth should be increased, the agency reports.

"It is necessary to increase quantity of grants for rural youth," the leader of the state considers. The compulsory condition for such grant-aided students should become "working in the region for not less than five years."

"Basically all the returning graduates settle down in Almaty and Astana or at the best in the regional cities. And only 115 people work in the regions and it is not enough," he emphasized.

Totaly 3 thousand 850 Kazakhstan citizens within 15 years received education abroad through Bolashak program.
