The President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev suggests postponing transition to 12-year system of secondary education.

Astana. February 6. Kazakhstan Today - The President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev suggests postponing transition to 12-year system of secondary education. The leader of the state stated today during the presentation of the message to the people of Kazakhstan at the joint session of chambers of the Parliament, the agency reports.

"We spoke about transition to 12-year education, but we do not have enough schools and teachers for this purpose. We need to prepare schools and only after that we will begin the reforms," the President emphasized.

N. Nazarbayev noted this year 88 schools for 68 thousand students will be constructed, and in 2009 - 2010 102 schools for 69 thousand students will be built.
