President to present to the government the new tasks on Monday

Astana. January 18. Kazakhstan Today - President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev will present to the Cabinet of Ministers the new challenges for the country's economy at the government meeting on Monday, 21 January, Kazakhstan Today reports.

"The new year, 2013 has come. We cannot lose the pace of economic growth," said the head of state at the meeting of the political council of "NurOtan" on Thursday in Astana.

The President noted that the world economy is still experiencing difficulties, which will also affect us.

"In this regard, we accept new challenges, what I will say on Monday at a government meeting. These are new challenges from the development program "Kazakhstan-2050," said Nursultan Nazarbayev.

The President stressed that "we need to pay more attention to maintain the rate of growth."

"For this we need to spend the money to finance economy, especially infrastructure - construction of new roads ... railroads, airports, sea port in Aktau. We will be engaged in the development of innovations," Nursultan Nazarbayev added.
