Prime Minister approved measures undertaken by Health Ministry on non-admission of hepatitis C infection

The Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Karim Masimov, held a working meeting with the Minister of Health of Kazakhstan, Zhaksylyk Doskaliev, on the situation with hepatitis C, the agency reports citing the press service of the Ministry of Health.

Astana. January 22. Kazakhstan Today - The Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Karim Masimov, held a working meeting with the Minister of Health of Kazakhstan, Zhaksylyk Doskaliev, on the situation with hepatitis C, the agency reports citing the press service of the Ministry of Health.

The Minister of Health reported on the accepted measures and infectious control not to admit infection of citizens during medical treatment, blood transfusion, and blood substitute procedures.

"The Prime Minister of Kazakhstan approved complex of measures undertaken by the Ministry of Health not to admit infection of citizens during medical treatment and intravenous infusions."

According to the press service, the Prime Minister supported an offer on additional financing at the rate of 1 billion 700 million KZT.
