Prime Minister assigned Emergency Ministry to consider opportunity to de-reserve state reserve of medicines

Astana. February 9. Kazakhstan Today - The Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Karim Masimov, at the selector government meeting charged the Ministry of Emergency to consider an opportunity of de-reserving from the state reserve of medicines to reduce the prices of medical products in the home market, the agency reports.

"The Agency for Regulation of Natural Monopolies and the Agency for Competition Protection need to monitor the prices for medicines in drugstores. The Ministry of Emergency needs to look what can be offered now from the stocks so that the prices could go down," the Prime Minister said.

During the meeting the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan assigned the Education Ministry to check the issue of non-increase of education fees in high schools. "We spoke in the Ministry of Education about education fees. Payment should not change. It is a home market that is estimated in tenge," K. Masimov emphasized, addressing the Minister of Education, Zhanseit Tuymebayev.
