Prime Minister assigned to create plan of liquidation of inactive Caspian coast wells

Astana. May 13. Kazakhstan Today - The Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Karim Masimov, assigned to develop the schedule and financing plan of liquidation of inactive wells at the Caspian coast. Vice Minister of the Environmental Protection Ministry of Kazakhstan, Eldana Sadvakasova, informed in an interview to journalists, the agency reports.

"The Prime Minister assigned to develop the schedule and financing plan for stage-by-stage liquidation of these swamped inactive wells in the coastal zone of the Caspian Sea," E. Sadvakasova said.

She explained that this plan "will have an inventory, a cadastre of all wells and such list exists. The program of their liquidation is now at the development stage.
