Astana. January 22. Kazakhstan Today - The Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Karim Masimov, assigned at the expanded session of the board of Natural Monopolies Agency to provide uniform competitive environment for the Kazakhstan manufacturers in the Customs Union territory, the agency reports.

"We need to look into tariff formation in Russia, how to create a competitive environment for the Kazakhstan manufacturers so that they could work with such tariffs in the territory of the Customs Union," K. Masimov noted.

"The Customs Union regulates only external customs borders and customs duties. The uniform economic space will come into force in 2012 by the assignment of the heads of Kazakhstan, Russia, and Belarus that means that regulation of natural monopolies will be unified on the whole perimeter," the Prime Minister said.

"The special commission headed by Umirzak Shukeev, First Vice Premier of Kazakhstan, has been created. The negotiation process has begun."
