Prime Minister charged to prepare decree on construction of atomic power station in Mangistau oblast

The Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Karim Masimov during his working trip to Mangistau oblast took part in the work of the interdepartmental commission concerning acceleration of realization of the civil-engineering design of the atomic power station in Aktau; he charged the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources of Kazakhstan in a week term to prepare and submit to the government of Kazakhstan the project of construction of the atomic power station, the agency reports.

Kazakhstan Today - The Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Karim Masimov during his working trip to Mangistau oblast took part in the work of the interdepartmental commission concerning acceleration of realization of the civil-engineering design of the atomic power station in Aktau; he charged the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources of Kazakhstan in a week term to prepare and submit to the government of Kazakhstan the project of construction of the atomic power station, the agency reports.

Having listened to the arguments of the President of Kazatomprom Mukhtar Dzhakishev and the General Director of the Company Kazakhstan-Russian Nuclear Stations Sergey Andropenkov on the necessity of construction of the atomic power station in Aktau, the Prime Minister has given his permission on construction of the nuclear station.

According to the Director of the Department of Investment Policy and Planning of the Ministry of Economics and Budgetary Planning of Kazakhstan Ilona Shvartskopf, 154 million KZT has been allocated this year for development of the declaration on intentions with the complete set of materials on engineering researches of share materials of the platform accepted for development of the project at the stage of the feasibility report.
