Prime Minister held meeting concerning support of grain sector

The Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Karim Masimov, held the meeting on Friday concerning support of the grain sector to maintain food safety, the agency reports with reference to the press service of Kazakhstan Prime Minister.

Astana. December 22. Kazakhstan Today - The Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Karim Masimov, held the meeting on Friday concerning support of the grain sector to maintain food safety, the agency reports with reference to the press service of Kazakhstan Prime Minister.

According to the press service, the chairmen of the state departments, JSC Company Fund of National Welfare Samruk-Kazyna, JSC Company National Holding KazAgro, and the Grain Union of Kazakhstan took part in the work of the meeting.

The meeting participants discussed preparation for spring-field works, in particular, financing of the sector with the purpose of further renovation of the technical park and development of the infrastructure that will allow supporting the level of crediting of agricultural commodity producers and will provide duly carrying out of spring-field and harvest works.

The Prime Minister gave a number of assignments on realization of the measures formulated in the Plan of joint actions of the government of Kazakhstan, National Bank and the Agency for Financial Supervision on stabilization of economy and financial system for 2009 - 2010.
