Prime Minister signed decree on allocation $ 5 billion to Samruk-Kazyna and KazAgro
Astana. January 28. Kazakhstan Today - The Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Karim Masimov, signed the government decree on allocation of $ 5 billion to the National Welfare Fund (NWF) Samruk-Kazyna and KazAgro. The Prime Minister informed during the meeting in the Fund Samruk-Kazyna on Tuesday, the agency reports.
"The head of state held the meeting of the Board of the National Fund on Tuesday. $ 5 billion was allocated last year for capitalization of the Fund Samruk-Kazyna and $ 5 billion has been allocated this year, $ 4 billion - to the Fund Samruk-Kazyna and $ 1 billion - to KazAgro," the Prime Minister informed.
As informed earlier, the President of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, held an extraordinary meeting of the Managing Council of the National Fund of the Republic of Kazakhstan to discuss the issue of allocation of $ 10 billion to stabilize the economy of Kazakhstan in the context of the global financial crisis.
N. Nazarbayev noted that the first $ 5 billion in 2008 was aimed at capitalization of the Fund Samruk-Kazyna. Another $ 5 billion the government proposes to invest in Samruk-Kazyna (480 billion KZT) and JSC National Holding KazAgro (120 billion KZT).
