Prime Minister signed decree on introduction of temporary interdiction of export of petroleum products

The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Karim Masimov, signed the governmen's decree on introduction of a temporary interdiction of export of gasoline and diesel fuel from the territory of Kazakhstan, the agency reports citing the government's press service.

Kazakhstan Today - The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Karim Masimov, signed the governmen's decree on introduction of a temporary interdiction of export of gasoline and diesel fuel from the territory of Kazakhstan, the agency reports citing the government's press service.

According to the press-service, the decision was accepted in order to stabilize the home market of mineral oil.

"According to the decision, gasoline export will be forbidden until January 1, 2010. Export of diesel fuel, except household fuel, will be forbidden until November 1, 2009," the press service explained.

As informed earlier, Kazakhstan government is introducing temporary moratorium on export of petroleum products.

A. Kurishbaev at the government session informed that agricultural commodity producers have had problems with shortage of AI-80 gasoline.

In this connection, he asked the Prime Minister to introduce temporary interdiction of export of petroleum products.
