Priorities of Kazakhstan on OSCE chairman post to be discussed in Astana

The official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, Yerzhan Ashikbayev, informed at the weekly briefing on Monday that the future priorities of Kazakhstan on the post of the OSCE chairman will be discussed on December, 18-19th at the round table in Astana, the agency reports.

Kazakhstan Today - The official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, Yerzhan Ashikbayev, informed at the weekly briefing on Monday that the future priorities of Kazakhstan on the post of the OSCE chairman will be discussed on December, 18-19th at the round table in Astana, the agency reports.

"During the session the participants will discuss the future priorities of Kazakhstan on the post of the OSCE chairman, presidency of Kazakhstan in the Group on cooperation with the Mediterranean partners of OSCE in 2009, long-term issues of the OSCE agenda in political, economic-ecological and humanitarian areas," the official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan said.

The representatives of the OSCE Secretariat, foreign ministries of the countries that chaired the organization, chairmen and representatives of the European educational centers and academic circles will take part in the work of the round table.
