Republican State Symbols Commission session took place in Akorda

The session of the Republican State Symbols Commission took place in Akorda under the presidency of Kazakhstan State Secretary Kanat Saudabayev, the agency reports referring to the president's press service.

Astana. May 7. Kazakhstan Today - The session of the Republican State Symbols Commission took place in Akorda under the presidency of Kazakhstan State Secretary Kanat Saudabayev, the agency reports referring to the president's press service.

During the session, according to the press service, the participants discussed pressing questions of introduction and use of symbols in the life of the country.

"For the years of independence there have been special symbols of statehood personifying national sovereignty, originality and historical sense of existence of Kazakhstan," the State Secretary said.

"For such a young country as ours, alongside with the conventional frontiers and authorities, the state symbolic has huge value in formation of Kazakhstan patriotism, strengthening of unity of the nation," he emphasized.

According to the press service, the session participants considered the course of execution by the state bodies of legal assignments of the Republican commission on state symbols of 2007 and the work of the regions of the country on application and propagation of the state symbols. Following the results of the session, the corresponding legal decision of the state commission was accepted.

The session took place on the eve of the Day of State Symbols and the day of adoption of the new Constitutional Law on State Symbols, which will be celebrated on June 4.

As it was informed earlier, the standard of the State Emblem was made last year and new rules of allocation, replacement and utilization of the state symbols were developed.
