Russia ratified CIS Collective Peace-Keeping Forces agreement

The President of the Russian Federation, Dmitry Medvedev, signed the Federal Law on ratification of the agreement on the order of financial and technical assistance to the work and personnel of the CIS Collective Peace-Keeping Forces, the agency reports citing the press service of the President of the Russian Federation.

Almaty. April 6. Kazakhstan Today - The President of the Russian Federation, Dmitry Medvedev, signed the Federal Law on ratification of the agreement on the order of financial and technical assistance to the work and personnel of the CIS Collective Peace-Keeping Forces, the agency reports citing the press service of the President of the Russian Federation.

The agreement on the order of financial and technical assistance to the work and personnel of the CIS Collective Peace-Keeping Forces was signed in Dushanbe (Tajikistan) on October 5, 2007.

The agreement defines the order of financial and technical assistance to the work and personnel of the CIS Collective Peace-Keeping Forces, the order of transportation of the military contingents, armies, military technology and other resources, and establishes responsibility for control and commander of the CIS Collective Peace-Keeping Forces for distribution, target expenditure of the allocated resources, and control over their use.
