Almaty. June 24. Kazakhstan Today - Russia suggests summoning the meeting of chairmen of OSCE, NATO, EU, CIS, and CSTO for development of a common approach towards the creation of the Euro-Atlantic security space. The Minister for Foreign Affairs of Russia, Sergey Lavrov, informed at the opening ceremony of the Annual Security Review Conference in Vienna, the agency reports citing the official site of the foreign policy department of the Russian Federation.

"We suggest summoning the meeting of chairmen of the main international organizations - OSCE, NATO, EU, CIS, and CSTO on the basis of the platform for security cooperation that we approved within the limits of OSCE. The meeting participants could compare security strategies of all these organizations. It would be an important step towards development of the uniform approaches towards the creation of indivisible security space in the Euro-Atlantic area," S. Lavrov said.

"Russia initiated an idea of signing of the European Security Contract. We will advance this initiative in all formats working on the problems of rigid security, including the OSCE Forum on Security Cooperation," Foreign Minister said.
