Russian President ratified amendments to agreement on order of use of test-flight center

Moscow. June 15. Kazakhstan Today - The President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin signed the Federal law on ratification of the protocol on amendments and additions to the Agreement between the Russian Federation and the Republic Kazakhstan on the order of use of 929 state test-flight centers (objects and battlefields located on the territory of the Republic Kazakhstan) of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation dated January 20, 1995, the agency reports referring to the Russian Federation president's press service.

The federal law ratifies the report on amendments and additions to the agreement between the Russian Federation and the Republic Kazakhstan on the order of the use of 929th state test-flight center (objects and battlefields located on the territory of the Republic Kazakhstan) of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation dated January 20, 1995, signed in Moscow on April 4, 2006.

The protocol to the Agreement introduces changes concerning new conditions of carrying out of tests and functioning of the center, the order of renting of the ground areas with the objects of movable and immovable property, payment for their use, new coordinates of the land areas and the new list of objects and property rented in Kazakhstan.

The protocol regulations authorize to use the ground areas and air space of the 929th state test-flight center of the Ministry of Defense of Russia in the interests of the 4th state central inter specific range located on the territory of the Republic Kazakhstan at carrying out of tests of new models of arms and military equipment and specifies the order of defining the status of military formations of the 929th state test-flight center.
