Russian President signed Food Safety Doctrine decree

Almaty. February 2. Kazakhstan Today - The President of Russia, Dmitry Medvedev, signed the Food Safety Doctrine decree of the Russian Federation. The press service of the president of the Russian Federation informs, the agency reports citing ITAR-TASS.

According to the decree, the Food Safety Doctrine of the Russian Federation has been confirmed with a view of realization of the state economic policy in the field of maintenance of food safety in the Russian Federation directed at provision of the population of the country with food, development of domestic agriculatural and industrial and fish farming complexes, operative response to internal and external threats of stability of the food market, and effective participation in the international cooperation in the food safety sphere.

The government of the Russian Federation has been charged to develop and confirm the plan of measures for realization of the Food Safety Doctrine of the Russian Federation and to annually prepare reports to the President of the Russian Federation containing the analysis, estimation and forecast of food safety of the Russian Federation.
