Shukeev informed President of negotiations on accession of Kazakhstan to WTO

The head of state, Nursultan Nazarbayev, met First Vice Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Umirzak Shukeev. U. Shukeev informed the President of the results of the visit of the governmental delegation of Kazakhstan to the USA that held negotiations regarding accession of Kazakhstan to the WTO, the agency reports citing the president's press service.

Astana. September 23. Kazakhstan Today - The head of state, Nursultan Nazarbayev, met First Vice Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Umirzak Shukeev. U. Shukeev informed the President of the results of the visit of the governmental delegation of Kazakhstan to the USA that held negotiations regarding accession of Kazakhstan to the WTO, the agency reports citing the president's press service.

"The negotiations were conducted in three directions: commodity group, trade in services and the system questions. The trade negotiations are about to come to an end, on trade in services - we have planned ways of solution of several problem questions. As for the system questions, one of the important question for us is Kazakhstan's share that will be discussed in a multilateral format. It is a big achievement for us."

The officials discussed the measures to guarantee stability in the home market of food.

"We have developed a variety of additional measures to make the prices for foodstuffs remain stable within a year."
