"I mean our relationships with Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan and China. We have very good confidential relations with all the neighbors with whom we have common borders. Cooperation with the strategic partner - Russia is developing as well," K. Bakiyev said.

In the opinion of Kyrgyzstan President, it allows to come to the conclusion that "the situation in the Central Asian region essentially differs from the situation 2-3 years ago."

During the meeting Kurmanbek Bakiyev and the Prime Minister of Japan Yasuo Fukuda expressed "support for the Japanese initiative, providing cooperation in the format Central Asia + Japan. In their opinion, similar cooperation promotes stability and development of the Central Asian region," the press service informed.
