Speakers of Majilis of Parliament of Kazakhstan and zhogorku kenesh of Kyrgyzstan signed memorandum of cooperation

During the official visit of the delegation of Majilis of Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan headed by the chairman of Chamber, Aslan Musin, to the Kyrgyzstan Republic the parties signed the memorandum of cooperation on Monday, the agency reports referring to the press service of Majilis of Parliament of Kazakhstan.

Kazakhstan Today - During the official visit of the delegation of Majilis of Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan headed by the chairman of Chamber, Aslan Musin, to the Kyrgyzstan Republic the parties signed the memorandum of cooperation on Monday, the agency reports referring to the press service of Majilis of Parliament of Kazakhstan.

According to the press release widespread today, questions of strengthening of the Kazakhstan-Kyrgyzstan inter-parliamentary cooperation became the topic of the meeting of Aslan Musin with the Speaker of zhogorku kenesh of Kyrgyzstan Republic, Aytibay Tagayev.

According to A. Musin, "Kyrgyzstan has supported the idea of the President of Kazakhstan on creation of the Central-Asian union.

"Commodity turnover between two countries has reached more than $300 million. 45 % of all investments in Kyrgyzstan accounts for Kazakhstan," the Speaker emphasized.

"The relations of our countries can be an example as we do not have any unresolved issues either in political, economic, or social spheres," A. Tagayev said.

During the visit the chairman of Majilis also met the President of Kyrgyzstan, Kurmanbek Bakiev. The parties discussed the condition and prospects of bilateral cooperation, strengthening of friendship and cultural communications of two countries.

K. Bakiev stated that Kazakhstan is the main economic partner of Kyrgyzstan. Growth of commodity turnover has increased by more than 30 % in comparison with the last year.
