Special Envoy of Ministry of Foreign Affairs to take part in UN Committee elections

The Special Envoy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, Madina Dzharbysynova, will take part in the elections to the UN Committee on the Elimination of Discrimination against Women (CEDAW) for the period of 2009 - 2011. Kazakhstan Today - The Special Envoy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, Madina Dzharbysynova, will take part in the elections to the UN Committee on the Elimination of Discrimination against Women (CEDAW) for the period of 2009 - 2011. The press secretary of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, Ilyas Omarov, informed at Monday's briefing, the agency reports.

"The elections will take place on July 30 in New York to the UN Committee on the Elimination of Discrimination against Women for the period of 2009 - 2011. The candidature of the Special Envoy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Madina Dzharbusynova, has been put forward from Kazakhstan," I. Omarov said.

Madina Dzharbysynova will hold the meetings with the representatives of diplomatic missions of CEDAW Convention member countries in New York, the press secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan informed.
