Summit of Near-Caspian states leaders to make political decisions to settle sea issues - Tazhin

Astana. June 21. Kazakhstan Today - The summit participants of the leaders of the Near-Caspian states should make political decisions to settle the issues connected with the Caspian Sea, the Kazakhstan Foreign Minister Marat Tazhin said on Wednesday at the third meeting of the Ministers for Foreign Affairs of the Near-Caspian states in Teheran.

"Defining the ways of development of negotiating process and acceptance, first of all, political decisions for the settlement of the issues connected with the Caspian Sea, in our opinion, should become the primary goal of the forthcoming meeting of the leaders of the littoral states," M. Tazhin said.

As it was informed earlier, the third session of the Ministers for Foreign Affairs of the Near-Caspian states started its work in Teheran on Wednesday. According to the agenda, the Foreign Ministers plan to consider and coordinate the project of the final document of the second summit of the leaders of the Near-Caspian states - declarations and discuss the date of carrying out and the agenda of the summit.
