Terrorism should be fought collectively, despite political arguments

Almaty. September 10. Kazakhstan Today - Terrorism should be fought collectively, despite political arguments. The Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), Nikolay Bordyuzha, said in an interview to Russia 24 during the Yaroslavl Forum.

N. Bordyuzha said today's forum is devoted to security issues.

"We should unite, despite any political arguments. We should create a system of collective security. We should help each other and struggle against, first of all, terrorism," CSTO Secretary General said.

"We cooperate with the United Nations, the OSCE, and the SCO. We are also working with the CIS Coordination Councils. A coalition of international forces has been created to deal with the current threats and challenges," N. Bordyuzha said.

The OSCE Secretary General informed that the system of prevention of crises similar to the one in Kyrgyzstan is being created within the CSTO organization. "We need to create such a system that will respond and prevent threats similar to the one that happened in Kyrgyzstan."
