Ukrainian court suspended CEC's decision on presidential elections

The High Administrative Court of Ukraine has suspended the decision of the Central Election Committee establishing the results of the presidential elections taken place on February 7, the agency reports citing ITAR-TASS.

Almaty. February 18. Kazakhstan Today - The High Administrative Court of Ukraine has suspended the decision of the Central Election Committee establishing the results of the presidential elections taken place on February 7, the agency reports citing ITAR-TASS.

"The judge of the High Administrative Court of Ukraine, Alexander Nechitaylo, having considered the petition of the candidate for the president's post of Ukraine, Yulia Timoshenko... has suspended the decision of the Central Election Committee establishing the results of the presidential elections and recognizing Victor Yanukovych as President of Ukraine established by the protocol of the Central Election Committee of February 14, 2010."

The decision will be suspended until the administrative case is considered.

The court decision will come into force from the moment of declaration and is not subject to appeal.
