USA invited Nazarbayev to take part in International Conference

The American Vice President, Joseph Biden, invited the President of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, to take part in the International Conference on Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons, the agency reports citing the president's press service.

Astana. April 24. Kazakhstan Today - The American Vice President, Joseph Biden, invited the President of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, to take part in the International Conference on Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons, the agency reports citing the president's press service.

According to the press service, N. Nazarbayev held telephone conversation with J. Biden by the initiative of the American party.

In the beginning of the conversation, J. Biden expressed gratitude on behalf of the US President for the role that Kazakhstan plays in revival of Asia. He has assured that the new American Administration will promote further success of Kazakhstan, in particular, in the framework of the chairmanship of Kazakhstan in OSCE.

The US Vice President highly assessed the role of Kazakhstan in contribution to non-proliferation of nuclear weapons and underlined that the United States will support the policy of our country in this sphere.

The President, N. Nazarbayev, expressed support to the antinuclear initiatives of the US President, Barak Obama, in Prague.
