Uzbekistan and Armenia hinder creation of the CSTO Collective Rapid Response Forces (CRRF). The CSTO Secretary General, Nikolay Bordyuzha, said on Wednesday after the session of the Council of Defense Ministers of the organization, the agency reports citing NEWSru.

Almaty. June 4. Kazakhstan Today - Uzbekistan and Armenia hinder creation of the CSTO Collective Rapid Response Forces (CRRF). The CSTO Secretary General, Nikolay Bordyuzha, said on Wednesday after the session of the Council of Defense Ministers of the organization, the agency reports citing NEWSru.

According to NEWSru, at the session, the Ministers of Defense of the CSTO member states in Moscow considered a package of documents regarding the legal bases of the CRRF activities.

"There are some differences between six CSTO states and Uzbekistan concerning CRRF functioning. Armenia insists on establishment of more specific terms of readiness of these forces," N. Bordyuzha said.

Nevertheless, the CSTO Secretary General considers that the document on CRRF creation will be signed by the regular session of the CSTO Council of Collective Security.
