Working group on introduction of amendments and additions to the state program on development of the Kazakhstan sector of the Caspian Sea has been created, the agency reports referring to the press service of akim of Mangistau oblast.

Aktau. August 11. Kazakhstan Today - Working group on introduction of amendments and additions to the state program on development of the Kazakhstan sector of the Caspian Sea has been created, the agency reports referring to the press service of akim of Mangistau oblast.

According to the official mass media, the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Karim Masimov, noted that there are "doubtless advantages as well as defects in realization of the program accepted in 2003, which need to be corrected and solved." He charged till November 1 to develop proposals, which will be considered at the government session.

According to the press service, the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources of Kazakhstan, Sauat Mynbayev, has been appointed the chairman of the working group.
