110 118 graduates to write UNT that is 80 % of total students in Kazakhstan in 2010

More than 110 118 graduates will write the uniform national test (UNT) that is 80 % of total number of students in 2010 in Kazakhstan. The Minister of Education and Science of Kazakhstan, Zhanseit Tuymebaev, informed at a briefing devoted to UNT on Thursday, the agency reports.

Almaty. May 28. Kazakhstan Today - More than 110 118 graduates will write the uniform national test (UNT) that is 80 % of total number of students in 2010 in Kazakhstan. The Minister of Education and Science of Kazakhstan, Zhanseit Tuymebaev, informed at a briefing devoted to UNT on Thursday, the agency reports.

"More than 110 118 graduates will write the uniform national test (UNT) that is 80 % of total number of students in 2010 in Kazakhstan. 3662 graduates have applied for Altyn Belgi ward in 2010 that is by 686 graduates more than last year," Z. Tuymebaev informed.

"UNT will be held in 154 centers in our Republic. It will give a chance for the parents of the graduates living in remote settlements to save on transportation."

"The test, according to the rules, will be held on June 4 - June 10 in 49 cities and 105 regional centers. UNT will be held on 5 subjects: the language of instruction, history of Kazakhstan, mathematics and a compulsory subject, the Kazakh language for the graduates from the schools with the Russian language of instruction and the Russian language - for the graduates from the schools with the Kazakh language of instruction," the minister explained.
