1 billion KZT allocated for Kazakhstan space science for 2007

Almaty. January 25. Kazakhstan Today - 1 billion KZT has been allocated for development of space science of Kazakhstan for 2007 within the limits of the state program.

The director of the affiliated state enterprise, the Institute of ionosphere of the republican state enterprise - the Center of astrophysical research Victor Drobzhev informed today after the press conference devoted to the preliminary results and prospects of scientific research and experiments within the limits of the state program - Development of space activity in Kazakhstan in 2005-2007.

"More than 1 billion KZT, 1 billion 169 million KZT, has been allocated in the Republican budget for scientific researches for 2007," V. Drobzhev said. 455.3 million KZT has been allocated for preparation and retraining of the personnel of the space industry for the period of 2005-2007," he noted.
