63rd UNESCAP session finished its work

Kim Hak-Su informed that he is resigning the commission. "After seven years of work in the commission I would like to emphasize that I consider it a great honor to have had an opportunity to be useful for the UNESCAP member countries," he said.

As it was already informed, the next 64th UNESCAP session will take place in the spring of 2008 in Bangkok and will be devoted to energy safety and steady development in the Asian-Pacific region.

"I welcome the decision of the commission to approve the main theme of the 64th UNESCAP session: Power Safety and Steady Development in Asian-Pacific Region, including the elements "innovations and competitiveness," Kim Hak-Su concluded.
