7 space launches planned for autumn from cosmodrome Baikonur

Baikonur. September 6. Kazakhstan Today - 7 space launches have been planned for the autumn of this year at the cosmodrome Baikonur, Federal Space Center Baikonur press service informed the agency.

According to the press service, 7 space rockets of the federal space programs of Russia and commercial contracts will be launched within three autumn months from Baikonur.

The press service reminded, on September 6, the launch of Proton with Japanese satellite JCSAT-11; launch time - 4.43 by Astana time has been scheduled. The next in September will be the launch of РН Soyuz-U with the scientific satellite Photon-M, the launch date - September 14.

РН Soyuz-U with the piloted ship Soyuz TMA-11, РН Soyuz-FG with Globalstar apparatus and two rockets-carriers Proton, which should take three Russian communication satellites of GLONASS system and commercial telecommunication device Sirius 4 into orbit, will be launched in October. In November one launch of РН Proton-M with Tor 2R is planned.

According to the press service, from the beginning of 2007 from the cosmodrome Baikonur 10 launches of rockets for space purpose have been carried out. In total, 20 launches of rockets in 2007 from Baikonur have been scheduled, and this parameter will exceed the quantity of all cosmodromes of the world.
