A businessman from Almaty has gifted a Playground to the Musical School

Almaty. 4 May. Kazakhstan Today - In Almaty a businessman has gifted new playground to the K.Bayseitova School under the framework of "Tugan Zher" program, reported media office of the city Akim.

A playground has been built in the Republican musical secondary specialized boarding-school for gifted children named after K.Bayseitova under the framework of charity program. "Over the years of independence Kazakhstan business has significantly strengthened and now makes it possible to implement certain social initiatives. In support of the President's proposal on adoption of "Tugan Zher" program we decided to gift to the School a new Playground because health of young people builds up the health of nation. Let the scholars now win not only creativity competitions but also sports tournaments", said the businessman Erbulat Kasymov, reported Kazakhstan Today.

Ondasyn Abdullayev, the scholastic institution Director noted "children who are spending five hours a day in classes need to have most favorable conditions for physical exercises and mental relaxation so what the sports is bringing". A new sports ground built on the European standards encompasses football ground and universally applicable basketball court. Special coating from Austria, advanced drainage and lighting system is enabling to take exercises at any time of the day and in any weather conditions. The project value is of about 29 million Tenge.

The Republican musical secondary specialized boarding-school for gifted children named after K.Bayseitova was established in 1948. Its academic building holds 480 scholars, school boarding 110 scholars where 187 teachers are giving classes to children.

At present, K. Baiseitova Boarding School for Gifted Children is a new type of educational institution that meets all the requirements of the global standard. The best traditions of Russian youth education recognized in the whole world are integrated here with modern achievements of the world educational process.

The school has 480 students. The modern material and technical resources meet the requirements of the world educational system. There are offices equipped with advanced computer equipment, including an interactive blackboard that allows to conduct lessons in an interactive mode, establish creative contacts with educational institutions of Kazakhstan and other countries of the world. Three offices are designed for classes in music theory and music history. Innovative computer technologies are used in studying such disciplines as harmony, solfeggio, musical literature for the first time in Kazakhstan.

The Republican Secondary Specialized Music Boarding School strives to give attention to talented children from all regions of Kazakhstan, creating all the necessary conditions for comprehensive education and upbringing of gifted children, capable of continuing their further professional education in the best higher educational institutions of the world. This is why there is a boarding school, which can accommodate up to 110 children from other cities. Rooms for living and studying are decorated at a high aesthetic level, meeting the most modern requirements and sanitary standards. Excellent living conditions, conditions for individual studies in special and general subjects have been created. There is all necessary equipment for a full-fledged food, rest, medical care for the pupils in the boarding school.

To train and develop professional skills, as well as performing and acting skills of students, creative groups have been created in the school: symphonic, chamber, folk, wind, variety and symphony orchestras, choir of students, ensembles of violinists, cellists, and kobzists, kyl-kobzists and dombrists. Gifted children from the youngest age can show all their abilities as professional bandsmen and musicians in these unique musical creative groups.

Let us recall that in the article "A look into the future: modernization of public consciousness," the head of state Nursultan Nazarbayev proposed to develop a new program named "Tugan Zher".

N.Nazarbayev noted that in the framework of the Tugan Zher Program it is necessary to organize serious local history work in the sphere of education, ecology and improvement, study of regional history, restoration of cultural and historical monuments and cultural objects of local scale. For example, the best form of patriotism is the study of the history of the native land in secondary schools.

"Secondly, it is assistance to businessmen, officials, intellectuals and young people who having moved to other regions of the country would like to support their small homeland. This is a normal and patriotic desire, and it should be supported, not prohibited," the head of state said.

He noted that local authorities need to systematically and orderly approach the Tugan Zher Program. "We must not let this work run its course, because it requires a balanced and correct understanding. We need to find different forms of support and social respect that will help the small homeland, including a sponsorship mechanism. There is much work to be done.

We can quickly plant trees in our cities, greatly help computerize schools, support regional universities, art funds of local museums and galleries, etc.," the article says.

According to the local administration of Almaty, within the framework of the Tugan Zher Program in Almaty it is planned to introduce in the History of Native Land in schools, restore the monuments, compile a list of social projects to improve urban infrastructure, provide the social facilities with material and technical resourced, provide the targeted financial assistance, conduct the campaigns "Taza Koshe" and "Taza Audan", create tourist maps, conduct gathering of young historians and a forum of young regional specialists, etc. In addition, the approved plan of activities involves the development of an online crowdsourcing platform to bring concerned citizens together to offer their ideas on a given topic, as well as the creation of a cultural, educational, historical and local history reality show Tugan Zher on the city channel.

Entrepreneurs actively participate in the construction of social facilities, improvement of the city, holding socially significant events, and charity. Today, more than 20 large socially significant projects worth over 12 billion tenge are being implemented by businesses. For example, a school in Nauryzbay district for 1,200 places for a total of 1.8 billion tenge is being constructed. In the Alatau district, a kindergarten for 120 places is being built for a total of 320 million tenge. The track and field athletics stadium for a total of 400 million tenge will be put into operation in the same district. In total, the investments of extra-budgetary funds in the sphere of sports have already totalled more than 8 billion tenge. Currently, the improvements of the Kargaly River in the amount of 110 million tenge are under way. Over the past two years, more than 100 children's sports grounds and 10 kindergartens have been built for sponsorship, the local administration informs.
