Adilet web portal makes all legislative documents available online

The experts suppose that the citizens will be able to consequently make amends in the state's laws.

Almaty. December 6. Kazakhstan Today - It was announced in the Ministry of Justice that all legislative documents are available in the "Adilet" web portal.

According to Caspionet, the pilot project was launched in June. More than half a million visitors browse regulatory legal acts over one month. The portal has collected 120 thousand legal documents in state and Russian languages. The programmers promise that all codes, laws and decrees will be available in English within a short period of time. Moreover, they are planning to create separate category of bills and documents in the works. The experts suppose that the citizens will be able to consequently make amends in the state's laws.

"We have placed projects of these laws in order to allow people to be engaged in it, which will affect the quality of passed laws. We hope that people will take part in the law creating process with the help of this programme. It is one of the welcomed directions," said Issidor Borchashvili, Department Director of Republican Centre for Legal Information of Kazakh Ministry of Justice.
