Agreement on construction of Kazakhstan - Turkmenistan - Iran railway to be signed at Near-Caspian states summit

Almaty. June 20. Kazakhstan Today - The agreement on construction of railway of three states: Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan and Iran is planned to be signed at the summit of the Presidents of the Near-Caspian states in Teheran, the agency reports referring to the press service of the Turkmenistan leader.

The course of realization of arrangements on creation of transport-communication corridor the North - the South, reached during the negotiations in Astana and at the tripartite summit in Turkmenbashi, was discussed by phone by the Presidents of Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan.

"Nursultan Nazarbayev expressed support of the initiative of Gurbanguly Berdymukhammedov concerning the terms of signing of the agreement, the ceremony of which will take place in Teheran during the summit of the leaders of the Near-Caspian states," the press service informed.
