Akim of Almaty city instructed to open nonfunctioning kindergarten in Nauryzbay District

Kazakhstan Today - Bauyrzhan Baibek, Akim of Almaty city has conducted a retreat meeting devoted to the development of Nauryzbay District where in near future will be completed construction of new administrative center, a school for 1200 places and two clinics for 500 and 200 visits per day, reported media office of the city Akim.

Sayran Sayfedenov, Akim of Nauryzbay District noted that it is planned to build new roads in Kalkaman Microdistrict this year, complete repair on 32 streets for the total length of 17 kilometers, medium repair on 22 streets for the total length of 26 kilometers.

In addition, major repair has been carried out on Zhandosov Street between Sain Street and Tausamal village for the total length of 2.08 kilometers. In course of works it is planned to widen the road up to four lanes, reconstruct the bridge across Kargaly River and construct cycle paths and footpaths. To the head of city it was reported that major repair on the street will be completed earlier than planned and already on September.

During his working tour the city Akim has visited nonfunctioning kindergarten "Edelweiss" in Akzhar Microdistrict. The building of the kindergarten with the area of 1805 m2 was transferred into trust management by State Property and Privatization Committee to Center Vid, LLP from 2007 to 2017 but the kindergarten has not functioned until now. The city Akim instructed to take measures to open the kindergarten. It should be noted that in this district the shortage of preschool placements for children 3 to 6 years old is 668, 1 to 6 years old it is 1419, media office concluded.
