Almaty launched "Open Almaty" unique project

Almaty. 10 May. Kazakhstan Today - As the MayorИs Office of the city has informed, "Open Almaty" was initiated within the framework of an implementation of "Smart City" concept.

The project is designed to help residents, businesses and visitors of Almaty in solution of life situations that are not regulated by laws and regulations. It is expected that the project will change the approach of developing standards and regulations by the state bodies, making their development from the reverse. In other words, the regulation should be adjusted to the needs of the population.

Analysis of applications for consideration of life situations will identify the most relevant and problematic issues of the population.

"Open Almaty" is a complex project, which is planned to be implemented in 2 stages:

The first stage is the launch of the portal of life situations open-almaty.kz;

The second stage is the launch of the public reception room of the MayorИs Office on the principle of open doors and the accessibility of the MayorИs Office to the population. It is assumed that the public reception will unite under one roof the public reception room of the MayorИs Office, investor service center, tourist center, PPP center, single call-center of the MayorИs Office, and competence center (analytics) of citizens' appeals.

"For the convenience of users, "Open Almaty" portal is divided into 3 categories of users: residents, guests of the city and business. The portal is conceived as a single contact center with city authorities. A single database of appeals, as a result, will increase efficiency and strengthen control over the procedure for considering citizens' appeals by Almaty city administrations," in the MayorИs Office explained.

The portal "Open Almaty" is designed to give detailed instructions on various issues: how to call a local doctor at home, how to transfer a child to another school, how to get help in finding employment, etc., as well as those cases that are not reflected in the legal field. Note that today in the test launch there are more than 100 life situations.

By the way, step by step instructions for the solution of life situations are described in simple language and are not overloaded with terms. The portal provides answers to the most frequent questions in all areas of the provision of services, there a search is also provided.
