Almaty. July 18. Kazakhstan Today - Brucellosis, measles and HIV-infection sickness rate has grown in Kazakhstan. The chief state health official of Kazakhstan, Anatoly Belonog, stated at the press conference, the agency reports.

According to the message widespread by public health service, for the last half-year sickness rate of measles has grown by 39 %, viral enteritis - by 48.5 %, and HIV/AIDS - by 23.1 %.

Tuberculosis sickness rate on average in the country has decreased by 2.8 %, but the situation concerning infection still remains complicated - 66.8 patients on 100 thousand population. Thus, growth of tuberculosis has been registered in Astana - by 2.1 times, Almaty - by 4.8 %, Akmola oblast - by 6.3 %, and in Mangistau oblast - by 2.9%.
