Collection of rare engraving of Pablo Picasso brought to Astana

An exhibition is held in the National Museum from August 8 to November 3.
Astana prepares for the opening of an exhibition of famous Spanish painter Pablo Picasso, Elorda Info reports.

A solemn opening ceremony of the exhibition is held on August 8 in the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The exposition 'Pablo Picasso 'Selestina and Ceramics from Vallauris' organized by the Ministry of Culture and Sports of Kazakhstan is dedicated to the 20th anniversary of Astana, a press service of the Museum reports.

Guests and residents of the capital city have a chance to watch artistic ceramics and a collection of rare engraving of Picasso. Jugs, plates, vases, fary-tale birds and mythical creatures - the brightest sunny scenery of south France where the prominent master lived after the Second World War.

In 1946, he visited the annual exhibition of ceramics in Vallauris, and after having been inspired by the things he saw, he created more than four thousand decorative ceramic forms. Pablo Picasso could combine the usability of ordinary objects with the exclusiveness and magic of artistic work. The master did not use the potter's wheel. All his vases and plates by their deliberate wrong forms remind an archaic sculpture which is massive, wholesome and magically attractive. Carefully watching at these bright, pure massives, one can see as wild birds and animals come alive, and faceless ceramic utensils humanize and take the soul, and the flat paintings get the unique and unified story in the picture frames.

These works of Picasso are not the first experience of edition and author's ceramics. The Madura ceramics shop is the cradle of Valyrian ceramics runs these days.

The collectors who get items of the Madura shop necessarily have the mark with a number and the inscription of Edition Picasso

The exhibition in Astana will showcase 32 real exhibits that have corresponding certificates that prove their originality.

The exhibition lasts until November 3.
