Condition of two infected children improved

The condition of two children diagnosed with the virus of the influenza A (H1N1) has improved after receiving treatment in the clinic. The chair of Department of Sanitary-and-Epidemiologic Supervision of Astana of the Ministry of Health of Kazakhstan, Zhandarbek Bekshin, informed during the press conference, the agency reports.

Astana. July 23. Kazakhstan Today - The condition of two children diagnosed with the virus of the influenza A (H1N1) has improved after receiving treatment in the clinic. The chair of Department of Sanitary-and-Epidemiologic Supervision of Astana of the Ministry of Health of Kazakhstan, Zhandarbek Bekshin, informed during the press conference, the agency reports.

"Four more children diagnosed with the influenza are undergoing treatment at home by WHO recommendation. "As they are at home, all the people contacting them receive preventive treatment in the form of the medicine Tamiflu," the chief of the department specified.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Health, 6 more people with suspicion of the influenza A (H1N1) have been registered, three of which have been confirmed.

The epidemiological fund of the Ministry of Health of Kazakhstan has allocated 3 million 900 thousand KZT for diagnostics of the influenza A (H1N1) in Kazakhstan.

All the diagnosed children are at the age of 12 - 15. They were in Great Britain on June 18 - July 19.
