Kazakhstan Today - The Environmental Protection Ministry of Kazakhstan signed the Memorandum of development of cooperation with the Japanese Company Itochu Corporation concerning projects on decrease in emissions of hotbed gases, the press service of the Environmental Protection Ministry informed the agency.

"The Environmental Protection Ministry held the meeting with representatives of the Japanese Company Itochu Corporation concerning projects on decrease in emissions of hotbed gases," the press service informs.

"During the meeting the Minister of Environmental Protection, Nurlan Iskakov, signed the memorandum of mutual understanding between the Ministry of Environmental Protection of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Japanese Company Itochu Corporation, according to which the parties plan to develop cooperation in the field of projects on decrease in emissions of hotbed gases, in particular, on construction of small hydroelectric power stations and methane recycling, " the press release informs.
