Figure in the criminal case on extremism organized a trip of Altai school-students to the Muslim camps in Kazakhstan

On July 9, 2013 the Prosecutor's Office of the Republic checked for legality the trip of the school students of Kosh-Agachrayon to spiritual wellness Muslim camps in Kazakhstan.

Almaty. July 26. Kazakhstan Today - A figure in the criminal case on extremism organized a trip for school students of Altai to the Muslim camps in Kazakhstan, Kazakhstan Today reports.

"On July 9, 2013 the Prosecutor's Office of the Republic checked for legality the trip of the school students of Kosh-Agachrayon to spiritual wellness Muslim camps in Kazakhstan," the Prosecutor's Office of Republic of Altai informed.

According to the report, the basis for the organization and conduct of this checking was information about this trip, published on July 9, 2013 on the website "News of the Altai Highlands". In addition, according to the information, one of the organizers of the trip is Serzhan Svatov, in respect of whom the court considered a criminal case for acts of extremism by Part 1 of Article 282-2 of the Criminal Code.

"The checking will assess the legality of the organizers and others to organize sending children to spiritual wellness Muslim camps in Kazakhstan, the activities of these camps, legality of carrying children from the Russian Federation in the absence of their parents (or other legal representatives), etc. In case of violations of federal law and the rights of minors, prosecutors of the republic will take appropriate measures of prosecutorial response," concluded the Prosecutor's Office.
