Government to report on illegal construction in Almaty to President on October 20

The government plans to present full information on illegal building up in Almaty to the Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev on October 20.

Astana. September 25. Kazakhstan Today - The government plans to present full information on illegal building up in Almaty to the Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev on October 20. Vice Prime Minister Umirzak Shukeev informed on Monday during the selector meeting, the agency reports.

He suggested dividing the objective into two parts. According to the vice Prime Minister, within the limits of the first part it is necessary to carry out full analysis concerning illegal building up of nature protection territories of Almaty and Almaty oblast as well as prepare information, concerning the responsible officials who have admitted uncontrolled construction. "The group working on this objective will include: the State Office of Public Prosecutor, the Agency for Land Resources, the Ministry of Environmental Protection, the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Industry and Commerce and the Ministry of Emergency," U. Shukeev noted.

"The second part of the objective - to consider and make proposals on establishing order in building up of the specified territories, including development the mechanism of realization of pulling down and withdrawals, further development of nature protection territories," U. Shukeev commented.

Responsible for realization of the second block of the objective will be the Ministry of Finance, the Supreme Court, Almaty akimat, Almatyzher and the Ministry of Economics and Budgetary Planning. The group has been instructed "to define the plan of pulling down and withdrawals on the specified territories."

"The term of realization of the objectives - October 2, 2007, analyses - October 4, preparation for qualitative presentation for the leader of the state - October 20," U. Shukeev concluded.
