Head of the "Sarah Bokter" frontier post Alexei Fomin was released on parole

The Head of the "Sarah Bokter" frontier post Fomin was charged under several articles of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan: in hiding from Usharal frontier management the fact that the Argkankergen post did not contactfrom 28 to 30 May 2012, in failing to take measures to restore communications,in illegal possession of ammunition, omission, abuse of power and forgery.

Shymkent. July 22. Kazakhstan Today - Today Almaty regional court had granted the request of Alexey Fomin to release him on parole, Kazakhstan Today reports.

The Head of the "Sarah Bokter" frontier post Fomin was charged under several articles of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan: in hiding from Usharal frontier management the fact that the Argkankergen post did not contactfrom 28 to 30 May 2012, in failing to take measures to restore communications,in illegal possession of ammunition, omission, abuse of power and forgery, according to the official media.

As previously reported, A. Fomin, having failed to establish communication with the Argkankergen border post in Almaty region, in December 2012, was sentenced to three years in prison.

Previously, a criminal case was lunched against the chief of the "Sarah Bokter" frontier post, Fomin Alexey Viktorovich. "Fomin accused of deliberately concealing from 28 to 30 May of the current year the fact of the loss of communication with the "Argkankergen"border postand failed to take steps to identify the causes of loss of communication and its recovery," the official representative of the Prosecutor General of Kazakhstan, Nurdaulet Suindikov said.

We recall that on May 30, at the frontier post in the Almaty region in the south-east of Kazakhstan, where the fire occurred, there were found the bodies of 13 people, including the body of the yager of hunting farm, located next to the frontier post. On June 1 the Frontier Service reported that at the scene there were found the bodies of two more people. Usually there are totally 15 border guards on duty on the Argkankergen post in the summer. On June 4 this year in one of the shepherds' wintering grounds, located 24 kilometers from the "Argkankergen" post search team found and arrested soldier Vladislav Chelakh, born in 1992, who confessed in killing 15 people.

Chelakh later abandoned this earlier recognition of the murder. The court sentenced Chelakh to life imprisonment.
