Head physicians revealed shortages in uniform public health national system

Astana. February 2. Kazakhstan Today - Head physicians of Kazakhstan have revealed some shortages of the uniform national system of public health services. The Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Karim Masimov, informed at the expanded session of the board of the Ministry of Health on Monday, the agency reports.

As informed earlier, the head of the department, Erkin Durumbetov, explained the rules of receiving free medical aid, introduced in the Republic within the limits of the uniform national system since January 1, 2010, in the department of public health services of Almaty at the press conference on January 15.

According to E. Durumbetov, the uniform national system of public health services has been introduced in the Republic since January 1. The government's decree confirms the rules of provision of the citizens of the Republic with the guaranteed volume of free medical aid.

"The citizens of Kazakhstan will now be able to choose a doctor and a medical organization, which will render services within the limits of the guaranteed volume of medical aid. Medical aid fees will be paid by the republican budget. Payment will be made to all suppliers of medical services disregarding the patients' residence," the head of the department informed.
