House registers to be cancelled in 2012

If the database does not have information on residence registration, they should turn to a public service center and adjust their data.

Astana. December 8. Kazakhstan Today - The registration book of citizens known as the "house register" will be cancelled on July 1, 2012 in Kazakhstan, Kazakhstan Today reports.

Citizens will have to present an address certificate from the state database of private individuals to whom it may concern. The Migration Police Committee turned to Kazakh citizens with a request to check their residence registration as well as that of their families on the e-government portal. All the registered users can do this by clicking the "check address data" link in the "citizens" section. Users will have to enter their individual identification number and identity card number in the blank field, Caspionet reported.

If the database does not have information on residence registration, they should turn to a public service center and adjust their data.

"It is very important that this work is undertaken now. The database it will allow us to completely computerize this service next year and provide it to people in an automatic format. People will be able to receive this address certificate service without having to go to public service centers," Bakhyt Abishev, Chairman, Kazakh Committee for State Service Automation and Coordination of Public Service Centres said.
