Japanese Red Cross Society to allocate Kazakhstan 7 million yens

The Japanese Red Cross Society has allocated 7 million yens for the Red Crescent Society of Kazakhstan (RCSK), the agency reports citing the press service of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan.

Astana. May 15. Kazakhstan Today - The Japanese Red Cross Society has allocated 7 million yens for the Red Crescent Society of Kazakhstan (RCSK), the agency reports citing the press service of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan.

According to the press service, the President of the Japanese Red Cross Society, Tadateru Konoe, informed the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Tokyo on allocation of 7 million yens ($74 thousand) for the Red Crescent Society of Kazakhstan (RCSK).

According to the message, the Japanese Red Cross Society has made such decision, considering successful activity of the Kazakhstan party on rendering humanitarian help to the victims of nuclear tests on the Semipalatinsk nuclear range.

According to the press service, the Japanese Red Cross Society, which honorable president is Empress Michiko of Japan, was founded on May, 1st, 1877. It now totals more than 15 million members in all regions of the country.
