Kazakhstan permitted launch of rockets-carriers of Proton type from the cosmodrome Baikonur, the press service of the government of the republic informed the agency.

Astana. October 28. Kazakhstan Today - Kazakhstan permitted launch of rockets-carriers of Proton type from the cosmodrome Baikonur, the press service of the government of the republic informed the agency.

"The Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Karim Masimov signed the decree that lifts the ban for launches of the Russian rockets-carriers of Proton type from the cosmodrome Baikonur," the press secretary of the Kazakhstan government Aynagul Shakirova informed.

After the crash the Russian booster rocket Proton-M on September 6 on the territory of the Karaganda oblast, Kazakhstan forbade the launch from Baikonur of the rockets of this type.
