Kazakhstan delegation to take part in Madrid conference

Astana. February 27. Kazakhstan Today - The Kazakhstan delegation headed by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Kayrat Abdrahmanov will take part in the conference concerning development of the countries with average income on March 1-2 in Madrid. The Kazakh MFA official representative Yerzhan Ashikbayev said at the traditional briefing in Astana.

The department of economic and social issues of the United Nations Secretariat and the Ministry for Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of Spain are organizing the conference.

The conference pursues the purpose of giving more precise definition to the concept of "the countries with average income", defining the arguments justifying the necessity of rendering by the international community the support to the countries with average income, the study of the role of various agents in the politics of cooperation with the countries with average income and finding the most effective tools for work in the field of international cooperation with this group of countries.

According to Y. Ashikbayev, during the conference four working sessions will take place devoted to the themes- Involving of countries with average income in international trade, Financial stability in the countries with average income, Social rallying and democratic governing, International cooperation with the countries with average income.
