Kazakhstan government can postpone introduction of 12-year education for one year

The government of Kazakhstan can postpone introduction of 12-year education for one year. The Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Karim Masimov said during the session of the parliamentary fraction of Nur Otan Party, the agency reports.

Astana. December 14. Kazakhstan Today - The government of Kazakhstan can postpone introduction of 12-year education for one year. The Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Karim Masimov said during the session of the parliamentary fraction of Nur Otan Party, the agency reports.

As it was informed earlier, in July of 2007 the leader of the state Nursultan Nazarbayev signed the new Law on Education. The law is developed with the purpose of formation of competitive education system, integration of educational system of Kazakhstan into international educational space, further improvement of the legislative regulation of public relations in the sphere of education.

The law introduces new conceptual approaches in the area of development of education: transition to 12-year secondary education, re-structuring of the system of vocational training, creation of three-stage model of professional training of the higher and graduate education (Bachelor degree - master's - doctoral studies PhD), development of the national system of evaluation of quality of education, increase the status of pedagogical workers.
