Kazakhstan government rented 500 square meters office in New York on Manhattan

The government of Kazakhstan rented about 500 square meters office on Manhattan in New York for Consulate General. The Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan replied to an inquiry.

Astana. February 26. Kazakhstan Today - The government of Kazakhstan rented about 500 square meters office on Manhattan in New York for Consulate General. The Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan replied to an inquiry.

The reason for an inquiry of the agency was the publication in New York Observer where it informed that on February 1 the Republic of Kazakhstan government finished negotiations on rent of the 19th floor in the building №535 on the Fifth Avenue in New York.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan in its official reply to an inquiry informs, "There have been negotiations regarding the rent of the area on 19th floor of this building with a total area of 434 square meters for Consulate General of Kazakhstan.

The decision to rent an office, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, was accepted "in connection with increase of the status of the Consulate General of Kazakhstan and the increase of the volume of work."

"There are Consulate Generals of India, Lithuania, Monaco, Portugal, Russia, Philippines, France and other countries on the Fifth Avenue."
